AND REMEMBER...

Yes, daily practice is required--consistent, daily practice.  Learning to play piano requires adequate time spent at the piano for best results, greatest benefit and enjoyment.Yamahaanimals.jpgATTENDING RECITAL is encouraged, but not mandatory.  The important thing is that students learn to play piano for their own enjoyment, not necessarily to become performers.  Every effort is made to ensure that recital is a positive experience--even fun!  Music will be chosen well in advance, and students will have ample time to prepare.  Even at Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center, I try to keep the performance low-key to minimize fear and stress while boosting confidence.

GROUP LESSONS will be arranged several times throughout the year, in lieu of a private weekly lesson.  I believe the students enjoyed our last recital in which we divided into two performance groups.  The first group lesson will be held this fall--details to follow.

TERMINATING LESSONS, because everyone stops taking lessons at some point, will hopefully be done in a positive manner.  Let's have discussion between the parent, student and teacher when that time comes and have a month's notice so we conclude on a good note!
